Aregbesola: “Kuje jail attack investigation will not be made public.”

According to Aregebesola, the federal capital territory’s (FCT) investigation into the assault on a correctional facility in the Kuje neighborhood is complete.

At the fourth installment of the federal government’s scorecard series on Tuesday in Abuja, Aregbesola made this revelation in his remarks.

A gunman attack on the prison in July resulted in the escape of hundreds of prisoners, including Boko Haram suspects.

The outcome of the investigation will not be made public since it is a “security document,” the minister stated when providing an update on the investigation into the incident.

According to Aregbesola, “It is still a security document.” NAN reported.

Aregbesola added that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has made considerable progress against insurgency.

He said that in various local government areas in the states of Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe, “the militants were holding territories in 2015.”

“However, they have been moved as we speak. Yes, there are sporadic difficulties, but no country is immune to them.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
