Adrien Rabiot says that the French team is not dependent on Kylian Mbappe to win the World Cup again, despite the striker being the “primary weapon” for them.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward is in the lead after five goals so far in Qatar 2022. He got two goals as France, coached by Didier Deschamps, overcame Poland 3-1 and moved on to the quarterfinals.
The attacker will be trying to make a difference once more as England, who won the Euro 2020 final, will be France’s hardest test of the competition.
Though they have relied on Mbappe to propel them forward on a number of occasions thus far, Rabiot asserts that he is not the only player on their side who can contribute to triumphs.
Adrienne Rabiot’s assertion
Rabiot said, “There is no reliance.” “He is our major tool, but we also have other players who can contribute in other ways,” the team member said.
“Like all of the other members of the team, we depend on him. To face England, everyone must be in good physical condition.
“Kylian is outstanding, and he improves and changes from year to year. Where [his growth] will stop is unknown to me. We are fortunate to have him on our side rather than against us.
Mbappe participated in a game that established him as a celebrity four years ago, and ever since then, his reputation has only become better.
He did not take part in the game, despite France’s assurance that there is no cause for concern regarding his injury. He is still anticipated to play on Saturday against England.
